The canister type Gas Mask Respirators enables the users to work in Toxic Atmospheres having contamination up to 2% by volume

Contaminated Air enters the canister from the lower end and while passing through it, the chemical fill inside the canister absorbs the dust, fumes, mist and the toxic gases from the air thus allowing safe and natural breathable air to pass to the face mask through corrugated tubing from the upper end.

Main Components

The face mask is of universal type and is made of soft moulded rubber. The face mask is designed to fit air tightly and facial contour. The face mask has Panoramic Vision Visor which incorporates unidirectional inhalation valve for inhaling pure air from the canister through corrugated tubing and exhalation valve for expiring the exhaled air from the face mask to surrounding atmosphere. The Gas mask has been provided with speech transmission mechanism for communication.

The canister is made of sheet metal containing appropriate chemical fills for the protection against specified gases. The canister is painted with corrosion resistance paint according to the code for the gases they can absorb & carries labels indicating the expiry date of the canister as well of the gases against which the canister is effective

Caution

• The Gas Mask should not be used in contamination more than 2% by volume
• The Gas Mask should not be used for gases not specified on the canister
• The Gas Mask should not be used after the expiry date of the canister
• The Gas Mask should not be used in tanks, closed chambers and atmosphere where oxygen presence is lower than 16% by volume
